What do you guys do to make the charcoal basket?
I'm kinda struggling with that one.
Got my drum last night & am buying a weber 22.5 inch grill off of ebay to cannibalise for parts (lid grill etc).

I asked some Florida people I know, and the replies were that smoking stuff's not too common down there, apart from bringing back some Key Limes for Key Lime Pie, most suggestions were to eat a lot of seafood & drink loads.

No need to extend stack - it's just about grate level.

On assembly there were big gaps between the firebox and the smoking chamber - a lot of silicon sealant was used closing them.
Doors fit very loosely - again sealant

Hi folks, just found the forum & already need to thank the people in the UDS threads in the inventors' area for some good leads on where to get some parts for my intended UDS build.
