Re: ProQ Frontier wanted

Not 100% sure what body is coated in but assume it's porcelain if all the others are, and it does have the "drop side" handles.

Re: ProQ Frontier wanted

It is the 3 vented base version. I've had it about 3 years but only used it a few times, probably 10 or so - plenty of use left in it. It's obviously not in "as new" condition but it comes with the cover and I still have the hooks for cold smoking. Well worth 50 quid.

Re: ProQ Frontier wanted

I've got a used one I've been trying to sell, £50 and it's yours. I'm in Wolverhampton.

For Sale Pro Q Frontier

Decided to put my Frontier up for sale as it is not getting used. I've had it a few years so not as new but it's got plenty of life still in it, just needs a bit of a clean - so I'm looking for £50.
Cover is included.

Too big to post so collect from Wolverhampton.

Re: Sourdough - getting started

It is definitely worth the effort to make sourdough bread, head and shoulders above shop bought bread. My starter is just coming up to its first birthday and although I only have time to bake from it once or twice a week (it is a long process but not much actual work involved - mostly waiting ...

Pizza Stone

If anyone's interested, homebase have got a BBQ pizza stone for £9.99. I bought one today not used it yet though - I'll probably use it for bread baking in the oven and on the Weber OTG.

Re: Who's got a Cobb

I had a Cobb but got rid of it because clean-up is a real pain, the contents of the "moat" all mix in with the ash when you tip it out and make an unholy mess. Having said that, it did cook well, if a little slow, and the quality is second to none as it is all stainless. I replaced it with a Weber ...

Re: Mini drum smoker

If you take a look at this http://tvwbb.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/1840039023/m/5870049575 it should tell you all you need to know.
The pot mentioned on there may not be available over here but you should be able to find something similar.

The ribs weren't the meatiest I've ever had, but we got the flavour spot on.

Ditto, my ribs weren't too meaty either but tasty. Does anyone get meaty ribs on this side of the Atlantic?
