Re: Gas BBQ's

What brand is yours?

I've been looking at the Broil King models, but i've heard a lot of stuff on the internet about the firebox melting!

The Napoleon Grills look great - plus they have a tray to fit charcoal in if you want to do a real BBQ! High domed, rotisserie all good stuff!

Re: Gas BBQ's

I'm thinking about 3 burner.

Got to have a big lid, square. Non of this namby pamby 'sleek look' moulded sculpted can't-get-a-bird-under-it malarky.

Needs to be able to fit a rotisserie.

Shouldn't look like it fits on the dash of a taxi.

Needs to be well built and suffer outside (covered) all ...

Gas BBQ's

Hi Board,

Can we talk gas here?

I need a gas grill as an addition to my smoker. I need to sear burgers minutes before the pork butt comes out. There's so much info out there my head is spinning... If we can't discuss it here, does anyone know of a good place to do research?

Cheers,

H

Re: NYC BBQ???

I went to Hill Country recently.

It's on 30 West 26th Street
T: 212 255 45 44

It's had some great reviews and by god, their brisket was a thing of magic. It's a Texan BBQ pit/smokehouse. You buy a meal ticket and ask for what you want, they rip off a big of wax paper and slap the meat on a scale ...

Re: Advice for Pulled Pork

Cool, that's just what i was looking for!

I'm really looking forward to this. I've got about £100 worth of meat to cook, i feel about 12 again. Like when i knew i had the Millenium Falcon Lego set for Christmas tomorrow!

Anyone know a good beer keg supplier in the west midlands?

Cheers!

Advice for Pulled Pork

Hi everyone.

OK, so my first foray into the big leagues is approaching. I've ordered 3 pork butts which are about 6-7lbs each from my butcher.

I'm going to put them in my Excel20 and was wondering if anyone could give me a run down of the timeline for these things.

Like, if i light at 00:00 and ...

Re: New Board Member!

Hi !

Thanks for the responses.

I've never done pulled pork before and I'm not sure i've ordered a specific Boston Butt from the butcher. I'm new to the butchery game to be honest so i'm just learning how to communicate with our local guy. I'm hoping to build up a good meat-fuelled relationship ...

Well hello! I am based in the West Midlands and I love to BBQ. Anytime, anywhere. I have a ProQ Excel 20 smoker which i love to bits. Also just got some ...
