Hi guys got a 2.5 kilo leg of lamb I want smoke on my pellet smoker this sat, never done a leg of lamb and I'm a bit worried about it drying out?

Any suggestions on rubs? Should I brine? Cooking techniques etc?

Guys got a Gmg Daniel Boone, had an issue recently where the fuse blew, replaced it got the hopper working but theres no ignition anyone able to help?

gonna try my DB without the thermal, thought unless im cooking throughout the week on it, I wouldnt make the money back in pellets

Do I have to do some weird initiation thing?

Thought I'd update people, went to see a nice man called Nick at American BBQ in Hemel and decided to buy a Daniel Boone, nice bit of kit.

My mate is looking round for a gas unit (fool), although im trying hard to flog him my Pro Q smoker

Ok so he wants a decent size that he can do direct and indirect on, I did pulled pork last year and he loved it so wants tp be able to do things like. I have explained that it won't taste the same without charcoal but he wants to go for ease and control.

Got a mate that wants to smoke but through gas / electric rather than charcoal, any suggestions on what to buy?
