I'm sure if I had a thermometer to keep an eye on the temp I'd find the same thing - until I get one though ignorance is bliss as they say and I'll just assume all is fine lol. I'll definitely be investing in a better bbq at some point though once I raise my game a bit

So I had my first attempt at pulled pork at the weekend after buying a new bbq. I have to say it was a success... not a complete success but a success none the less!

I initially had a few problems getting the coal briquettes to light (and had them go out after a couple of hours) but I put that down ...

Cheers guys, and I didn't give her an excuse I just told her it was too late to do anything about... all my limbs are still attached so it seems to have worked!

Will let you know how it goes - jumping in straight at the deep end and doing pulled pork so I'll probably be up half the night to get it ...
