To be honest most designs will be fine. A lot of the fun is experimenting. Build a standard unit and then work out what's best for you.

732 or 733, the 735 is Bluetooth I believe and not such a good range or connection. I have 2 733s and have never had a problem with either.

Should be a UK plug, but mine got cocked up and I ended up with a 2 pin EU plug. Ring them back and get it sorted.

It's a slightly confusing post to be honest.

How many ribs did you have in the rack? If it was 10 or so then that sounds like a fairly full rack. Sounds to me like he was just trying to boost sales and give you a bone in pork belly. He just had to cut the rib rack off the bottom for you.

Hi sydie, no the foil won't stop the smoke, it comes up the sides.

You don't want too much direct heat.

Makro is a good starting point, but you wont get eveything you want there.

I'd love to do comps one day. Good luck getting a team together.

As brisket said temp is a guide only, not a red line.
