Morning,

After finally getting my own place again i'm looking forward to getting my Smoker Out through the Bank Holiday Weekend. Got some Ribs and Pulled Pork planned for Saturday and a nice piece of Salmon to try on the Sunday.

For Friday (As i am off that day as well) i was thinking of trying ...

Afternoon Again everyone,

Apologies for asking but why do some people / recipes say wrap meat up in foil after being on the smoker after a certain period of time?

I've watched episodes of Man v Food and Drivers, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (Which made me buy a Smoker) and i very rarely see them ...

Thanks again for everyones comments,

I took the Plunge last night and hopefully my WSM 57CM should be here by Friday,

I also got the Maverick ET732 and some Gloves as recommended... along with some other Weber gear.

I basically had to build my order up to £500 so just got whatever took my fancy ...

Thanks everyone for your comments, greatly appreciated and taken onboard,

Unfortunately the website i'm buying the Smoker and equipment from does not sell the Thermometers mentioned but i will definitely look into buying one of these in the future.

I'm Simon from Preston and i'm just about to buy a Weber Smokey Mountain after my partner gave me the go ahead.
