I have a Makro card managed to get the frozen ribs to try out this weekend.
I will have to look harder in the freezer section for pork shoulder.
Bookers seem to have a better meat selection online I may have to try and get a Bookers card aswell.

I found this site they sell a 3kg Boston Butt for £4.82 a kg.

They also have a 7 or 9 kg pork shoulder bone in for £3.42 a kg, you have to spend £75 for free delivery otherwise its £9.99
I think I will practice on some small joints from the supermarket before I try a larger joint.

Hi,
Newbie to the forum and yet to fire up my newly aquired WSM 47.
I have been trying to get hold of some decent large joints for pulled pork and brisket.
Asda and Sainsburys are at £3 a kilo for pork shoulder at the moment but online the largest sainsburys go up to is 1.8kg, not sure about Asda ...

My WSM 47 turned up a few weeks ago now. I managed to order it mid Jan at a good price, I found that as soon as a site ran out of stock they would increase the price before new stock arrived. I got in there quick with some voucher codes came to £260 ...
