Ha, I have no idea about the , my bad.
Well if I was to redo one I would have 4 lots of 25mm or 28mm vertical pipes with removable cap ends on 3 of them and just 1 ball valve (2 valves looks far better but ultimately if you can cap of the others then you only need one).
I still have it, I haven't ...

Re: Price for a UDS
Apologies for dragging this thread back up:
Definitely seems like a fair price to me considering the time and work going into making one.
Can I ask about the inlets you placed on the side of your drum? Was thinking of adding a ball valve and perhaps three hex nipples on my build, but given my back ...

Re: Weber Jumbo Joe
Hi. You can smoke on a jumbo joe, I haven't tried any long lengths cooks on mine but ribs, tenderloin and chicken have all come out very well. If you want more info on the jumbo joe the look at the weber compact as I'm pretty certain it's the same body that has been used (47cm shallow bowl). Given ...

Wow, didn't realise you could get them that cheap, I take it they fit webers. I'll see about picking up a set before I sell it then.

Right, hopefully this link has worked. These pics are from last year but I'm going to clean and reaping it before I try and sell it I expect.

Re: Thermometer positioning
I have the same weber and faced the same problem, In the end I bought a pit thermometer (like the ones used in an UDS) and just sit in in one of the upper vent holes in the lid, it'll probably restrict the air flow for the very hottest of temps to be reached but it still allows it to get plenty hot ...

Price for a UDS
Hey all. I'm considering selling my UDS that I built last year, it works well but I have a number of different design ideas I want to try out which basically means it'll be easier just to make a new one and selling the original will help finance it. But I have no idea what they sell for, on one hand ...
