Re: Pizza Kettle clone for sale
The Vortex was just in my kettle for the photo. I do not use it for the Pizza Kettle. The Pizza stone sits on the grill and you build a banks charcoal fire at the rear. The heat convects up and over the pizza and out the front of the pizza oven. This cooks the top and bottom of the pizza at the same ...

Re: ProQ Frontier Modifications - Airburner & HeaterMeter
Joe, I purchased the parts from Mouser & Digikey and the PCB from tindie before Bryan had started the kit. Case came directly from Tom Kole in the US (excellent 3d print!) and I had the damper printed by a UK bureau (very disappointing quality compared to Tom's print.) Next time I will try 3D Hubs ...

ProQ Frontier Modifications - Compression Latches
Next mod was to replace the stock latches. These are OK but a bit weak and also leak very slightly plus they do not close the doors very tightly. Having installed Nomex gaskets everywhere the doors still leaked slightly. Not enough to spoils a burn maybe but I'f I'm going to drive this thing with ...

ProQ Frontier Modifications - Airburner & HeaterMeter
I built a HeaterMeter following the excellent project over at tvwbb.com created by Bryan Mayland. This includes a blower/servo damper from a Tom Kole design and 3D printed in the UK. The 3D prints I had done by a local bureau were pretty poor and need a lot of sanding and filing to get to a ...

Intro from Berkshire/Kenya
Hi all,
I spend my life between the UK and Nairobi, Kenya. I've been grilling for decades but have recently acquired a ProQ Frontier and am now doing it low & slow! I'm a computer/electronics geek so have built a HeaterMeter and modded the Frontier quite a lot. I'll post photos elsewhere.
Thanks ...
