Well done to the winner of the BBQ s series. But the program was PURE crap like I have said before on here.
The Yank was a pain in the btm Miss ex Here Say ex BBC was pointless her being in the show . The BBC would have made the show 100 % better.

Re: Barbecue Cookoff TV Show
To be honest the show is a mix of Ready Steady Cook, Mater Chef and British Bake off but
not in the same Klass . Also the host of the show are poor letting someone go through with a
cooked Chicken and served it PINK with PINK juice / liquid in the Grill off. The show would be
better withbetter ...

Who`s Cooking With Gas Then & What Brand Model
New to Gas BBQ cooking and using a Outback 6 ring Excelsior .
Seem to be one of not many people on using gas for cocking.
It would be good to get feedback from others gas powered
about the setups.

Re: Buying advice Gas BBQ around £300
Hi Guys
I'm about to buy my first gas BBQ after finally moving to a house with a big enough garden!
I've decided to start with a gas bbq as I am after something that is fairly easy to run and maintain, and provides constant heat for a beginner.

Re: New To Gas BBQs
Outbackman,
I think your lack of replies may be due to the fact that most here are not running gas BBQs. I can only comment that I have had 2 outback 3 burners to augment my collection and found them most reliable. The Weber range is highly regarded but are very pricey. Of the 2 brands you mention ...

Re: New To Gas BBQs
Just my opinion but had a Gas BBQ when I was living abroad, just for ease of use, quick to use, didn't like them, its not really BBQing is it?.
Nothing is better than cooking food over coal and or wood. Keep the gas for a quick steak or warming stuff up and come over to the dark side ...

Re: Choosing a Gas for the BBQ : Propane or Butane
Are you likely to cook over Winter, if so I would stick with the Propane. Butane has a higher boiling point than Propane, and can "freeze" in Winter.
