I use a clay saucer the temps still wasnt that stable thats when I decided to deface my little beut with tape.

Ill go and get some silicone at the weekend and give that ago cheers.

I can work out how to apply the silicone on the doors but I cant figure out how to apply it ti the joins in the stacks and still be functional?

Hi all

I have been using the pro q frontier for a while now and I could never keep steady temps, so the last time I used it I found some tape that is used for ducting or something and wrapped it around all the joints which worked really really well but obviously the glue on the tape melted on and ...

the meat arrived from devon rose today yay! look like nice cuts too. ive got 4 single short ribs and 4 racks of baby backs too.
im gonna pop to b&q tomorrow to pick up the clay saucer, I know a few of you are saying its not needed but im gonna give it ago as im still a newbie and dont think I am ...

When using saucer does the meat still stay nice and moist?

Also im thinking of smoking up some jacobs ladder beef ribs, does any one have any advice such as wood chips, cooking heat, cooking time and pretty much anything else?

Oh that's excellent so I don't have to actually clean it, this is great the grills I can handle but the inside was looking to be a right nightmear

First smoke on the pro q frontier

Hi all

Done my first ever smoke on the frontier yesterday.
I done 8 racks of ribs coated with a little Memphis style rub and jackdaniels original no7 recipe sauce and they where amazing.
I used the 3-2-1 method but had to leave them in for an extra hour because I was struggling to get it to go ...
