+1 for heat beads, they seem to last forever and will be my fuel of choice for the foreseeable future.

I used this stuff to seal the gaps round the door of my offset. It was recomended by Adie, aka All Weather Griller, on this forum (thanks Adie) Its worked great.

I'm thinking of applying some paint or another product to the inside of the off set to try and stop it from rusting. Does anyone have any recommendations on products that would be suitable, or has anyone carried out similar mods with any success?
