I just bought a pack of the already smoked mackerel for a potato and smoked mackerel dauphinoise recipe I am making tonight and I thought I might like to give it a go myself.
I did find one recipe by searching around but it had mustard and I was thinking I want to taste the fish and the smoke more ...

How many packets would that be?
Do you mean like the pot noodle stuff with the flavour sachet in the pack?

Welcome to the forum, just finsihed smoking a ham ready for hanging for a couple of months for a palma style ham, should be pretty good, I will be getting some more pigs at the end of Jan and smoked bacon will definitely be on the list of todo's, I think they should be ready for the May ...
