Re: Bluetooth dual probe thermometer - clas ohlson

Had some success with it at the weekend when cooking some lamb. The app is simple and the probes seem accurate!

Re: ivation wireless dual probe

Hi guys

I've used this. I have the Maverick as well but I found this both intuitive and accurate. It pairs with both android and iOS.

Bluetooth dual probe thermometer - clas ohlson

Hi guys

Picked one of these at clas ohlson. First impressions are it's very easy to use and it syncs with androids and iPhone/ipads. Not tested to see how accurate it is yet, but am hopeful as both probes matched each other at room temp which matched my thermapen. I think it's 24 pounds and takes 3 ...

UUNI Pizza oven

Looks like a nice product. Only 189. Heats up in two minutes. Gets to 450c. The pellets seem reasonable too.

Re: Which commercial smoker?

Another option would be to either Cold smoke before with a smokeai (think that's the spelling) or add a gromit hole during the cooking on the propane cook for the device. These things will save you a bundle and produce a serious amount of smoke.

Re: Wood fired oven

How long did the maximus stay hot for? do you suppose it will keep decent temps overnight for slow cooking?

Do you have any pics of your setup? have you placed it on a special table?

Weber or not

Hi

I am on the look out for a weber one touch or similar for my sister. I think she is jealous of my kamado joe. Its her birthday soon and I won't be getting her a kamado joe. However, I would like to know if there are any decent discounts available on weber products? or if there recommended but ...

Re: Burgers

Yours sound pretty good to be honest!
Other possible improvments could be to use a toasted brioche burger bun rather than a seeded bap, makes a big difference.
Maybe adding something to raise the umami level such as a tiny bit of anchovy/worcester sauce/mushroom sauce. Bacon, smoked applewood ...

Where it is, it completely covers the daisy wheel, I don't think the angle shows how large the sheet of metal is. You can unscrew it and attach it to the centre of the daisy, but then it will be exposed to the elements when its moved.
