New Weber gas BBQ - orange flame

Postby Rents » 18 Aug 2018, 21:36

Hi,
I have a new Weber BBQ - Weber spirit 210. Had it for less than a month and after using it 3-4 times, I have recently noticed that the horizontal burner now produces a yellow-orange flame.
I have been reading a bit about it and i have found out it’s one of the following

1) spider web somewhere
2) clogged burner pipe holes (clogged with food/fat). This seems unlikely since i have only had it for a month.

What would you recommend?
I have contacted the company where I bought it, shown them a video but they said this is normal.

SHould i try and clean the wholes with a pin/needle/wire? Otherwise, assuming those holes are not clogged, can I use a compressed air bottle? It says those are inflammable... do they just mean while the air is coming out? Would you use it on a BBQ (while it’s off obviously)? I think it’s the best way to get rid of spiderwebs.
