I did my first cooks simply using one of the charcoal dividers, wrapped in foil.

Then came smokenator, much easier but think there are now better.

Then came the WSM

Now looking at a BGE

All in a few years.....run away now!!

Joking aside, I've been great with all briquettes apart from the BigK 'recycled' you need to look carefully as packs in retail seem to share the same EAN. Visually once bag is open is that recycled are about twice the size & smoke badly
