Quebracho Lump for long cooks

Postby SmokeySouls » 29 Jan 2016, 18:10

Hey Guys,

Tomorrow I'm going to have a smoke and I'm going to be using Quebracho lump charcoal, does anyone have any experience cooking low and slow with this type of lump?

Thanks

Michael

I always use the stuff from makro. 9.99 for 12kg. It's restaurant grade and always worked a treat for me.

How much is it? Is it special stuff?

I think I paid around £14.99 for 7kg, I'm gonna give it a shot today but I have read mixed reviews. Once I'm done smoking I'm going to grill some steaks.
