Made my own burgers at last!

Somtimes it just has to be done, anyone fancy a ribeye?

I'm all for extra flavor in my burgers too. I have a basic recipe and to that I add whatever I have to hand or fancy at the time, I also like making Jucy Lucy's too, they're really popular with the children in our family

Basic recipe for those that are interested, makes 4 burgers or less if you have a large appetite

500g Beef mince (I prefer steak mince but not the super lean stuff you get in Tesco)
1 small onion chopped
1 tsp fresh parsley
1 tbs cream (add richness and moisture, especially if you use steak mince, less saturated fat so slightly healthier)
1 clove garlic (chopped or puree)
Extras as desired, currently I like adding Thai flavors like chilli, coriander and fish sauce

For the Jucy Lucy just make 8 thin burgers, put a piece of cheese between 2 burgers and crimp the edges together
