This Serbian Burger has a cult following in America, the Serbs claim it is the original burger. The have a special bun called Lepinja.
1 lbs minced chuck
1/2 lbs minced butt
1/2 lbs minced lamb
3 cloves of garlic finely chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 tlbs sweet paprika
Salt to taste.
Mix and leave to set up for 8 hrs in the fridge.

The juicy lucy version stuffed with feta and fresh chopped red chillies is my fav, served in a lepinja with a blob of Ajvar.

That's easy for you to say, one of the US Grilling/BBQ presenters & writers Stephen Raichlen featyred this on one of hi programs mentioning it's popularity. Sounds great, doubt if I could manage the Double Cheesburger version though

This is a vid of a really good burger bar in Belgrade, they still only use wood fired grills

Hmmm interesting, defineatly couldn't do a double cheeseburger with what I assume is their largest burger @500g.
Can't wait for the subtitles or overdubbing

Sounds top delicious, think it has also been covered by Adam in Man versus food, it was covered and called out as a serious burger rather than one of those 8lb idiot burgers the size of a mans head that you have to disassemble to eat.

Top recipie shall give it a whirl
Cheers

Life is for the grilling.....
