Keith i just noticed Coast to Coast have openend up in Newcastle aswell and it just so happens the Mrs and I are going shopping there on Saturday so it maybe a port of call for lunch. The menu looks ok for a bite to eat. I will report my findings if we do try them out.

Hopefully they do a better job then the C2C here in Stevenage. Despite the hype it's nothing to write home about. No-one front of house could tell me if the pulled pork, ribs or dogs were cooked in house. A while later one on the waiting staff told me that yes the pork etc were cooked in house, the pork came in pouches and was cooked for 15 minutes (reheated ?), the ribs were "hot cooked" in the oven and the brats were cooked on premises as well.
The food was okay, but nothing really different from any of the other franchises and a bit pricey for the area.
