I'm headed to the Big Pig Jig in Georgia this weekend. I will be cooking for a team from Florida. Should be about 65 teams.

Cool. Does your competition season run all the year round then or are you coming to the end of it now?

This will be my last of the season untill Spring, but the Florida BBQ season is just getting started.

There were 125 Teams. We got 8th in Pork Shoulder, 13th in Whole Hog and 24th in Ribs. Not a bad weekend's work.

The Judging was on site ( no turn in boxes ) It was a big Dog and Pony show with table cloths, silver ware and china. I will try and post some pics soon.
