Beer bread

This recipe makes two loaves

750 ml self raising flour
45 ml sugar
5 ml dried herbs
340 ml beer
250 ml grated cheddar cheese

Combine flour, sugar and herbs in your mixing bowl. Slowly stir the beer and cheese into the dry ingredients. Turn the mixture into a greased loaf tin. Bake in a preheated oven (or even your Weber kettle) at 180 degrees C for 50-60 minutes. Once it is done, let it cool on a wire rack.

This is a firm favourite back home in South Africa
