They look good. Will be interested in the outcome and what you decide to do with them.

I got then from Andrews butchers just outside swindon,
I'm thinking about a basic rub ,
Then the 3-2-1 maybe abit longer due to there size.

2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground cumin
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1/4 cup paprika
1 tablespoon basil

One thing I have learnt , do not use so much rub :) it blew my kids head off.

Not bad for first time ribs

They look very good for a first attempt. Did the tub have some chilli in it then? My last batch were too peppery and were not a crowd pleaser with the guests.

I have this problem too- wife has an almost allergic reaction to chilli powder - so I have to leave it out.

Thanks all, I think I just put far to much rub on, and need to trim the ribs down, work on my presentation skills :)

Not sure what to try next? I have an issue with my wife she only eats chicken breast :(
but she did like pulled pork after she picked out the bits she did not like the look of lol
