anyone try injecting dry rub.....how did that go?

For a first attempt at brisket, i suupose it was ok. If it were for a competition I don't think i'd get any points for looks but the taste was really good. Just goes to show, don't judge a book by it's cover lol

I'm not saying it should look exactly like competition. But something similar or close to ish would have been nice. Because there was too much marinade from the injection it had washed alot of the rub off and looked more like a reddy-brown splat lol.

I am pleased at my first attempt, but know I'm far from perfect. That way there is always room for improvement.

lol. I think my first effort for brisket was ok. Think i know where i went wrong. So as long as i don't repeat mistakes i've already made, things can only go upwards on the learning curve :D . I've mainly done chicken till now. So everything else is going to be new and am looking forward to the challenge :shock: lol
