Brisket Knife

Not sure if anyone else has seen this tread on BBQ Brethren but one of the US teams has been working with Wusthof to produce a new knife to slice your cooked briskets with. Not sure if Toby, Scott or John saw any of these at the Jack as i belive there were a few prototypes being tested.

Here is the link for the guy doing the development work on it.

From what i understand there is going to be a limited run of 1,500 units being produced and all of them are going over to the US :( They're expecting delivery on the 1st of December in time for Christmas.

I'll be looking to get an order in for 1 of these as soon as they become availabe, if anyone else wants to add to my order and split shipping and import please feel free to drop me a PM.

Just when I thought my Wusthof collection was complete, wonder if it will be available in time for next years season?

http://www.sheffield-cutlery.com/cutler ... 1fc7c5353d

The scalloped edge on slicing knives was developed by a British company , Granton of Sheffield and in fact the generic term these knives have become known by is '' granton edged''.Now normally I would have to agree that Germany and Japan manufacture the best blades in the world but this is the one instance I always ''Buy British''. I would recommend these knives over and above their more glamorous foreign imposters and suggest you do too and save yourselves some money.
