B&Q oil drum style bbq needs to go

Postby 1969westham » 09 Jul 2013, 19:33

I have a B&Q/wickes oil drum style bbq that I no longer need. I have converted to a weber kettle bbq and the wife is telling me that the old bbq has to go. I dont really want to throw it away as it must be good for someone, so if anyone wants it let me know. mlp1969@btconnect.com if interested. many thanks,

Okay, now put your foot down, with a firm hand, and explain that whilst you are doing ribs on the Weber you can prep the B&Q for the more mundane fare at the BBQ parties you will soon be hosting :D

It would have helped if I had posted a location! It is in Harlow, Essex.

Ok condition, a bit rusty, but what would you expect if it has been sitting in the garden.

Thing is, I have made a wooden cover for it and it makes an ideal worktable when doing other bits in the garden.

But "The Wife" has spoken, and it must go!!

Cheers

I can see your point, the loss of an old BBQ for a peaceful life. Still you may need to replace it due to numbers of guests that will appear once they know you've got the hang of it ;)
