Keeping a Gas BBQ clean

Postby Cosd » 12 Aug 2013, 08:05

Hi guys
New to Gass BBQ's and wanting to look after my new Toy (Napoleon LE2), do you have any tips on keeping it clean?

I cooked on it 3 times now and gave it a good clean on the weekend. Though it's come up well I was surprised how much grease/oil was all over it beneath the grills already.

The drip tray, I was thinking of lining it with silver foil. Is this a good idea? any other tips for this?

Also, what do you use to clean the stainless steel? a sponge with soapy water wasn't enough.

Any tips or pointers are very much appreciated.

I use oven cleaner once a year, and BBQ pride for the grills. Then a pressure washer to get it sparkling clean. Mine is 100% stainless steel.

I tried lining with foil, but I found he oil ended up sticking to the BBQ.
