Welcome chum,
You ask one of the eternal questions, I have a landmann Tennessee and would not recommend it, thin steel, ages horribly and difficult to maintain temps. If your budget doesn't flex buy an Weber kettle you will be able to do plenty with it, else find more dough and buy either the Pro Q excel or the Weber Smoky mountain, you will end up there anyway. If you don't care about the prettiness build your own ugly drum smoker, masses of info on how to do it if you search the threads,

Cheers
Tiny

Phone around local garden centres to find out if they have old display stock from last year. That's how I got mine for about £230/250 (can't quite remember). That was in September last year though so they were trying to get rid of summer stock
