Rotisserie v's Ribolator

I am considering getting the 57 cm charcoal Weber rotisserie. Are they worth it?

I also looked at the Ribolator bit it is not a rotisserie in the sense that the food rotates. The food you put in the trays does not rotate. The trays change position around the central axis but the food surface facing the fire stays the same! So I am not sure what use it is. Any comments?

It makes a nice toy but in all honesty food doesn't taste much better than a good beer can chicken or properly grilled meat. Save your money for other things. Others may disagree and that's fine.

Save your money. As Jec says - using indirect cooking the beercan or spatchcock chicken is just as tasty.

The magic of true rotisserie that rotates on an axis is that it is self basting.
