I am sure some of you will have already planned ahead but today is a good day to stock up your freezers with meat, as the supermarkets have to close tomorrow the last 30 mins is an enjoyable frenzy, just seen that my local waitrose closes at 5pm Sainsburys at 6pm and Tescos at 7pm, the pub re-opens at 8:30 so my evening is pretty much packed

It was strange, they had cottoned on to turkey dates at the supermarkets so no reductions, although booker were getting rid of all fresh turkeys for £5, had to go shopping again yesterday for todays meal (17 people), tescos had reduced fruit and veg to 9 or 10p then went to sainsburys and they were reducing the chicken, so now have a freezer full of chicken breasts at £1 and legs and thighs for 75p.......... Next year the goal is to gamble and host the 3 dinner parties on a budget of £20
