When finding recipes that require American seasonings such as Old Bay, Lawry's etc. which are dificult to obtain in UK I use these home made blends.
Montreal
8 tbsps sea salt
2 tbsps fresh ground black pepper
2 tbsps onion granules
3 tsps garlic granules or dehydrated garlic
3 tsps chilli flakes
3tsps dried thyme
3 tsps dried rosemary
3tsps fennel seed
Old Bay
4 tbsps ground bay leaves
3 tbsps celery salt
2 tbsps dry mustard
4 tsps ground black pepper
2 tsps ground white pepper
2 tsps nutmeg
2 tsps cloves
1tsp allspice
2 tsps ground ginger [ powder]
4 tsps paprika
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp mace
1 tsp ground cardomom
Lawry's
8 tsps sea salt
8 tsps sugar
2 tsps paprika
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp onion powder
1tsp garlic powder
1 tsp corn flour [optional]
These recipes are not official. I advise that you tweak them to your own taste. I Hope they're useful.
