Personally i don't put them back on the grill. I just leave them in the foil add the sauce as there will be enough heat in the ribs to set the glaze

Thanks for making my mind up, just took them off and 10 minutes later they're practically gone. 2 racks required next time!

I'm doing a Sunday burn, taking ribs in tomorrow for someone's lunchtime leaving do so if it's fired up it would be daft not to do a load of food wouldn't it :D

Here's this weekends lot

Image

Got 4.5 racks of ribs from the 10kg box from Bookers, 4 smaller racks from morrisons, pork tenderloin and end of a beef tenderloin for "Me 'n' her" tonight small pork shoulder, small brisket and a beef skirt

Getting the coals started

Image

Her indoors wasn't in and we've run out of pork rub so I made the pork rub from Wicked Good BBQ book, never had it before although I do use their beef rub so I'm guessing this pork one will have a kick to it also

Image

Here's the top layer at 16:20 when it all (except the 4 smaller racks from Morrisons) went on

Image

And 1 hour 20 mins later the porn and the beef loin came off from memory the pork was at 67c and the beef at 70c

Image

Absolutley gorgeous, although I put beef rub on the loin for some reason, I wasn't planning on it but I must have gotten 'in the groove' when doing the rubbing

[Fixed the picture links, been having a right mare with internet tonight I nearly missed a sale on a famous auction tonight because of it, luckily I got a signal on mobile data I'm now the proud owner of 5x 46kg gas bottles to make wood burners or a BBQ maybe :D ]

Ha, oops, that was meant to say 'pork' but if the shoe fits......

I can't tell you how nice the loin, both pork and beef was. Oh and "holy mother of burst taste buds" yeah the WGBBQ pork rub has quite a kick to it but well worth it, I prefer the normal rubs but would be happy doing half the racks with normal rub and the half of them with WGBBQ rub
