Feel free to ask any questions, one of the experts will certainly respond, don't be afraid to ask anything, we were all beginners at some point.

Pro q excel 20 not lid not fully closed

Post by awesselbaum »

Hi Guys

Hope you can help. The lid on my pro q only closes only on one side when the latch is locked. The other side of the lid appears slightly raised and the other latch won't lock properly (showing a gap). Is there a fix for this that you can recommend? Will I need a new lid/body?

Many thanks,

Anthony

sounds like the top stacker is slightly off round. Check the lid in the bottom stacker, see if it fits there. If it does, check the stackers will clip together then ok. If the original top stacker is still having problems you can apply gentle pressure to shape it round again. You will have to eyeball it and best guess.

Otherwise take some photo's and check with Mac at MacsBBQ.com for further advice.
