Post by Tyrone1Wils »

Hi all spotted this today on hotukdeals

http://www.bbqworld.co.uk/weber-barbecu ... -black.asp

Just wanting opinions. Haven't got a kettle ATM just a crappy gasser and a uds. Wondering if anyone has this kettle and it worth the price?

Cheers

Edit: sorry meant to put 55 in the title

I got a 57cm one touch original in ivory for £50 2 years ago as the end of season. I cannot recommend those webers enough. She is a beautiful piece of equipment.

However with a 47cm I'd question if there was enough grill space for what I use mine for. Grilling you always need more room for more meat and those kooky sides you want to do. For smoking/baking I find the logistics of the space quite small on 57cm.

Maybe someone with a 47cm can comment further.

I didn't end up getting that Weber as i realised it was the compact version, so would be far too small.

I did however just get a used 47CM One Touch for £35 which is a good size for what i need it for. Which i thought was a bargain considering they are around £110 new.
