Didn't know the Wi-Fi controllers were available yet in the UK, I'm jealous! Where did you get it from and how much was it?

Have you given it a test cook yet?

They're not and i don't think they will be, i got mine by way of Australia. They use the same voltage and it slots right in, i had to get the low pellet alarm replaced as it was continually beeping. Look on urbangriller.com.au and use the contact page to ask the question.

Fixed my alarm with a bit of a can and some gaffer tape :D

What is the benefit of wireless? Are you worried about it sustaining a temperature?

No it was mainly because i could :-) i'd had some good ot recently and my slush fund was looking healthy so i got one. I like that you can program a cook and save it as a profile. In reality it's just another gadget.

It extends all the grill controls to a smartphone app and you can program multi temperature cooks ie 2 hours at 150 then 3 hours at 250 then 275 until the food temp reaches 195. Press the off button on the app and it goes straight to 'fan' you don't have to drop it to 70c then press again. Also the firmware is a lot newer than my original controller and the temps are a lot tighter.
