BBQ Gourmet in the UK and Oakridge BBQ in the States are together looking to sponsor a BBQ Team in the UK for 2015. If interested, please email Richard Orme at info@bbqgourmet.co.uk for an application form. Submissions close at noon on Friday 27 March 2015.

Good to see and very interesting

I expressed an interest and received the application but haven't followed up, from 1st glance it looks like they are looking to sponsor an already established and successful team with a full calendar rather than smaller teams looking for a leg up but hey good luck to whoever gets it, looks a good package.

We only received a single response which was disappointing. Therefore, we have decided to delay the decision on who gets the sponsorship to the end of April.

To answer earlier comments, sure, a full calendar of events is attractive to us as it is more opportunities to get word out about these great products from Oakridge BBQ, but it doesn't have to be a really established and successful team - they are usually already set up with what works for them.

Hopefully we'll get more applications by the end of April.

We had a huge year in 2014, our 1st competing and with the addition of the world food champs amassed quite some debt we have therefore had to take a step back this year to try and clear the decks, we literally will be doing only 2 grillstocks....

If however u wanna talk about 2016...... Game on!

I'm in a similar situation to you Gaz, and without the World Food Champs expense. However, I have just had an addition to the family so I'm just doing Grillstock Manchester this year, but definitely more comps in 2016!!!!
