Re: Barbecue Cookoff TV Show
Ha fat chance would be my guess. Didn't ask sorry.
Re: Barbecue Cookoff TV Show
I doubt accommodation would be included
1st round is three days
rumours of a £50k first prize
they'd said an update would be circulated w/s 11th may - nothing
with auditions this week! - nothing
but have also been advertising like mad on social media trying to attract different peole of varied sex, race, ethnicity etc
they only want 8 people - so guess they want 8 varied contestants

Re: Barbecue Cookoff TV Show
just heard back from the Production company.
they're making final phone calls today - if you applied and have NOT heard anything by the close of play today - you're not in it!

Re: Barbecue Cookoff TV Show
I had my interview on Sunday but I had to decline the test shoot this week as I just cannot take 16 days off work in June at such short notice. They appreciate that a lot of people would have difficulties and asked that I reapply next year (if it goes ahead) as there will be more notice.
One think that I did not like about it is that we would not be able to use our own equipment. We would be expected to complete the competition using unfamiliar equipment that they would provide.
