We get loads of slugs and snails round here, so what I did on my Weber Kettle, and what I've just done on my frontier is put a line of copper tape about an inch off the floor round all of the legs and leg struts. Keeps the buggers off.

You've made me want to go and check for slugs now, we're getting them by the bucketload this year

We're having loads of problems. None in the day, then as soon as dusk appears, can't move for the swines. Big snails as well. Had to do the copper tape under the back door to keep them out too.
