What really excites me is how are those lads that bought a load and have been offloading them on ebay have suddenly had the market fall out. Awesome! Anyway, waiting to collect one of these bad boys

Hi
Used mine the other night. Love the fact you only need 10/15 charcoal briquettes. Any tips on lighting a small amount? I normally use a chimney starter.

Can you actually smoke in something this small - or is it just used for grilling.

yep i have done rolled lamb legs with chunks of hickory and pork racks with apple chips

Putting my thinking cap on - I wonder if you could make a mini UDS out of a commercial vegetable oil can then. Simon?

I have this, along with both the 37cm smokey joe and the weber go anywhere. It holds the perfect amount for the smokey joe but not just quite enough for the go anywhere. I think it was desinged just for the smokey joe when the go anywhere was discontinued. I use it for lighting smaller amount of coals when I'm smoking using the minion method.
BTW, does anyone know if the new release is the same size as the old one as I'd quite like a new grill for mine.

You got I right Aris, the metal is a little thin so you have to leave drum as intact as possible, while cutting away the top and bottom.
Or you can just cut one end and drill holes in the other to form a deflector.
One Mini WSM for next to nothing, ideal for taking anywhere.
