Jacobs ladder is cut from the top part of the rib of beef & sirloin when they trim them for roasting so it's more akin to baby backs. Flank, leading into the brisket is what would be the spare ribs, and I believe that they are what are called Dino-Ribs in the states but I'm not sure about the DR bit.
