In the good old days, when Channel 4 and Nicky Horne showed NFL, they condensed the game down to just about 1 hour, as they cut out all the time-outs and US ad breaks. It was, and still would be the MOST WATCHED foreign channel in America.

LOL - I'm also a cricket fan, but I do play. The only sport I struggle with is Baseball, but only becasue I haven't spent enough time studying the rules. It's interesting to watch the "varsity" college games twixt Oxford and Cambridge there is often an American student in one or other. Their fitness levels in comparison are astounding, probably due to starting in the junior leagues around 8-9 years old. Whereas here we don't have the facilities for schools to let kids play let alone choose sports.

Sorry to be so late in the chat, but Dallas Texas was the only proper Tailgating that I have ever been to. There were no sales only freebies. Had more beer before the game then I drank on a Friday night out .
Two years later I went to Twickenham the Watch England and it couldn’t have been anymore different:? No one doing any sale, no one putting a beer in your hand and saying "Hi ya Buddy, where you from", just dirty looks

I'll watch England play rugby on the box but if I had a choice to watch American football or Rugby? It would be American football every time.
Even if it is the Redskins or the Eagles
