It's a frozen one from Lidl, 4,9Kg for £9.99 so no idea if it's "good". Can't get turkeys (at a reasonable price) other than at Easter & Christmas so there are going to be a couple of frozen ones bought for next year.

Okay confession time, due to unforseen circs we had to change plans so no BBQ. However the Turkey was cooked vertically on a large Spanek roaster in 2 hours in the fan oven and was juicy & more importantly delicious.
I was well impressed by the quality of this turkey considering the price, 1 slight nick in the skin BUT only 1 largeish sinew left in the drumstick, whatever machine they use to pull the legs it's as good as manually pulled legs. (pulling is where the drumstick is broken above the foot, put over a hook and the hard sinew drawn out of the leg). It's amazing an 11 stone chap (yes I was.............once :oops: ) could swing on the tendons/sinews of a 10Lb turkey :shock: :lol: .

That takes me back to my youth, trying to pull the tendons when Mum and Dad used to sell Xmas fowl.
We still have the hooks set on the door.
Pheasants are much easier
