Just as an update cooked yesterday on a set of weber briquettes in the weber 47cm WSM that had already done a 12 hour cook. The cook was only for a couple of hours (abts and fatties). I didn't bother shutting down the WSM as figured the briquettes were basically spent. Left the WSM will all vents open. This morning at 10am (18 hours after the coals had been relit with 3/4 chimney of fresh new coals) the WSM was still at 150f
