But something dawned on me - How do you measure your temps at a comp, when surrounding people could also be using the SAME Mav??................how does the receiver know which transmitter is yours?? :?
You are fine it has to do when the transmitter and the receiver sync together. If you have any technical questions that are beyond me I can pass it along to my competition team partner Darren Keller the operations manager of Maverick.

It's true! Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason. Sometimes things just don't work out right then out of the blue , when you think you've screwed up, something special happens. Thats BBQ!

Fellow Carnivores,

I just took receipt of the Bar-B-Q trailer I had commissioned (photos being considered as we speak/write) and looking to get some seasoning and initial testing done. Thing is, it's a big daddy and I want to be able to determine hotspots etc before we have our first cook off in May.

Anyway, this is actually not my point or question. The request I have is can someone point me to a UK retailer of the Mav ET-73 please? I can see some on the US eBay site, but concerned that postage and customs levies may delay the receipt of such an important bit of kit.

Any ideas?

Scott.

Hi Scott,

I'm not a retailer but I have a couple of Brand New ET 732's if you want one they work out at £56 inc paypal and postage.

Let me know if you want one.

I ordered quite a few when they were launched and when I make an order from the US I try to order enough to keep costs down (For everyone).

PM me if you would like one.

Beerz

Well that's why you guys are considered the specialists then! Always wanted to practice my biscuits, what a great opportunity. Thanks Doc.

Adie, I think I might just grab a Mav from you. Simple is good.

Cheers
