I've also been looking for something similar to what I've had before in the states...no such luck around my way tho, tried Sainsburys and Waitrose and even my butcher...all pork! The search continues...

Ocado should sort you out. I have already tried the Chicago brand of hot dawgs and they were ok. Looking forward to trying the kosher Gilbert's brand next. I also noticed that Costco sells Gilbert's chilled and sliced salt beef - will have to try some of that at some point soon.

There's a good hot dog stand in London apparently:

I make my own sausages when I get time, haven't tried making franks or Polish sausage yet, might give it a go. Or I could just check out the Polish deli in the next village... hmm why didn't I think of that before.

I found them in a local 'foreign' supermarket, they had about 10 different sausages and some nice spanish black pudding.
The beef franks werent the best i've ever had, but it's a start, only had 60% beef in

but still hit the spot.

Well until they changed the regs 60% beef was a good quantity of meat to rusk, gristle, sweepings, slurry & anything else
Was there a brand name? We have lots of "Delis" and other shops in Herts so it would at least give us something to look for.
