I'd considered the Smokey Joe as a stopgap option - the premium one is only £42 (plus delivery - not sure how much) here:

Also, their Premium 57cm One Touch has gone back down to £136. I'm going to wait and see if the weekend discount at Riverside Garden Centre is really going to be another 30% off their current price, then make a decision (finally!).

Was in Reading yesterday & Lakeland had Smokey Joe Premiums for £39.

Not online but might be other stores with stock.

Having bought a Spirit 310 & WSM 47cm this year, my wife wasn't allowing it!

Not wishing to harp on about the Smokey Joe too much  , but if you go that route as a temporary measure, then later buy a full sized kettle; as well as having the SJ still as a portable, a lot of people seem to be having fun turning them into mini WSMs...

Note that this is commonly done by adapting a particular type of Tamale pot for the middle section; this being readily availabe in the States, and not so much over here. Still, it's a thought.

that sj looks awesome, i could get a pot like that from my local asian suermarket.

anyway, i could potentially be a weber owner by tonight, its going to take a drive over half of the country but if i get it then it will be worth it.

fingers crossed, watch this space.

Newbie, don't know how old you are but the phrase "Let your fingers do the walking" might ring a bell.

If not, yellow pages and a phone call could save the hassell of "sorry mate just sold it" :D

Are you coming to Burton on Trent by any chance? I missed a bargain earlier and that was a Weber but a gas one. Think it was e320 or similar.
