completely agree, we have a good feeder program underway at the moment training teams during a comp in real time. In May we had 5 novice teams of which 3 have signed up for a second comp and a 4th will be coming back for their second in August, we have also increased the slots from 5 to 10 novice teams at the August comp. I have no doubt that as long as we get the interest at the ground level we will eventually be able to support multiple comps over a weekend.

And the effort and work done is very much appreciated. Even by those who just get to enjoy the experiences vicariously through forum posts!

I was there, the food was alright but way, WAY overpriced imho. £8 for a pulled brisket bun with no sides and £7 for pulled pork with no sides.. I'd expect that kind of pricing at music festivals, but not something food-centric that I'd already paid to get into

I know they pay a premium for their sites but those are Central London prices and ludicrous even darn sarf .
