Does anyone have any experiences of the Tarrington House Portland Trolly Smoker Grill as offered by Makro?
They are currently selling for £79.99 (+VAT) and was wondering if they are actually any good - or just a waste of money, or if anyone has one and what they think of it?

I'm not experienced with offset's but from what I’ve heard and my understanding of offset's is that if they cost less than £300 it'll most likely be made of very thin metal which will lose heat and it will have lots of gaps where the smoke & heat will escape from makeing them very difficult to manage a constant heat. Although that being said with some fire bricks and a bit of tin foil a lot of these problems can be overcome.
I have seen this on eBay at the moment which if anyone is looking for a good offset this looks like a bit of a bargain.

The new Braaunfells here is similar to the Brinkmann smoke'n'pit professional and is quite sturdy but not built from 1/4" steel like cactus jack, yoder, oklahoma joe etc. A more realistic price for a refurbed snoker of this calibre would be £120- £150 tops.
