Pork Butt

Hi guys
What is the difference between a Boston Butt and a hand of pork?
My butcher says it is the same and I sent him a diagram of Pork Butt

Hey bud,

The hand of pork is the bit closest to the hock end, as far as I am aware the Butt cut takes some of the Hand and most of the Neck end. the blade bone is left in and the butt is squared. HTH
